Terms and Conditions

All projects begin with a written agreement outlining the desired furniture piece(s) to be produced.  As the project progresses through the phases of development, the customer must sign off on the scope of work, materials to be used, design plans to be used for the build and cost of the project.  Therefore, refunds and returns are not accepted But the project can be halted at the beginning of every phase minimizing the cost of the  investment in the build. While not guaranteed, JAH Fine Woodworking can negotiate the redirection of the ownership of the furniture piece(s) if a buyer can be found.


Common furniture  requested by our wood shop include, river tables (dining and coffee), common dining and coffee tables, bookshelves, beds, bedroom suites, chairs, hope chests, display tables, hutches, rocking, chairs, and upholstered pieces.


  • Phases of the project include:Design or plan selection, material selection, finish selection, final project signoff and delivery.
  • Costs incurred for each phase are payable upon phase completion and customer approval.
  • Project termination can be issued by the costumer at the payment of each phase.
  • Delivery cost (if not local) will be estimated at the beginning of the project and confirmed during the finishing phase.
